Alpha Sigma was founded in 1991 and chartered in 1993, at SUNY Alfred. Our Sorority is built on the principles of academic excellence, community service, and sisterhood. We are a diverse group of amazing women that hail from a variety of places and backgrounds.

 

 

Throughout the year we do a number of community service, fundraising, and social events. Once a semester we invite interested young ladies into our pledging process to become sisters of our sorority. We also have a very active group of alumnae sisters who enjoy staying involved with the sorority.
